So why follow me?

Hi, my name is Nick. I’m from Folkestone in England, and I enjoy writing. I started this blog back in 2013 to experiment/practice writing and to see if there were people interested in what I have to write about.

In September 2013 I went back to university and have spent the past three years finishing my undergrad and completing a Masters. I have a BA in History with Archaeology, and an MSc in Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology, and currently work as a Field Archaeologist for Archaeology South East. During this time I posted very little but am now planning to regularly post again.

This blog encompasses many subjects from my personal experiences of travel, childhood memories, and history. I try not to cover anything too controversial unless I feel particularly strongly about that subject. There is enough doom and gloom in the world, and I like to keep my posts light and fun if I can.

I am always interested in hearing what other people think. I believe life wouldn’t be as interesting, although it would be more peaceful, if we all agreed on everything.

So check out some of my posts. I believe you will find them interesting and don’t forget to follow me to learn when the next post is published.
